Every fall, we launch our graduates into full time ministy. Over the years, Pastors Pat and Karen Schatzline have launched over 500 individuals into their future through all areas of ministry. Below are just a few of our success stories!

Francesca Battistelli

After a brief period at The Forerunner School of Ministry, Francesca Battistelli continued to fulfill her life time dream. The result takes her another huge step forward as it fulfills a lifetime of preparation. Born in New York City and raised in Florida, Francesca grew up in a musical family and knew at an early age was going to spend her life performing. She was drawn to musical theater, took ballet and dreamed of becoming an actress. Francesca is internationally known record artist for her songs, "My Paper Heart', 'It's All Okay" and
her song in the movie Soul Surfer - "It's My Life."

Daniel & Tricia Theurer

Daniel Theurer, originally from North Dakota, join The Forerunner School of Ministry, and met his wife, Tricia Wimberly-Theurer, shortly thereafter. Daniel and Tricia were a key part in the launch of the youth ministry of The Summit Church at Birmingham, while leading the Jr. High ministry and assisting in Culivate YOuth Ministries. Daniel and Tricia accepted an incredible position in Cordova, Tennessee at Cathedral of Praise. They are now seeing the youth of Vintage Student ministries radically changed.

Jeremy Bosma



Jeremy Bosma was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. He went to college in Fayetteville, North Carolina at The Forerunner School of Ministry with Evangelists Pat & Karen Schatzline. He gradutated and later hired on full time at Mercy Seat Ministries, Inc. in 2004 traveling across the United States. In 2006, Jeremy accepted the junior high position at Mountain View Assembly of God, now known as The Champion Center. In 2007, he accepted the High School position now known as United Student Ministries. His greatest achievement in life is getting married to his beautiful wife, Lindsey Bosma.

Jacob Jones

Jacob Jones was raised in  Clanton, AL. Jacob is the youngest of three. After he graduated from Thorsby High School he moved to Trussville, AL where he attended and graduated from The Forerunner School of Ministry.

During the Spring of 2011, Jacob took a position as a youth pastor in Wapakoneta, Ohio at Wapakoneta Communinty Worship Center. He is seeing a supernatural growth in Legacy's youth ministries as students lives are being challenged and changed!

Through The Veil

Through the Veil, recording artists, were originally composed of seven members, who were formerly students at The Forerunner School of Ministry. They graduated but still continued to travel with Evangelists Pat & Karen Schatzline all over the world. During their time with FSM, they served with passion and servant-hearts in everything they did. Through The Veil still continues with leaders Roberta Gruber and Tracey Kennedy.

Jessica Owens-Schlueter



Jessica Owens-Schlueter is the Worship and Creative Director of Lighthouse Church in Peoria, Arizona. Shortly after being at The Forerunner School of Ministry, she married her husband, David Schlueter, where the continue to work together in leading Lighthouse's family into the presence of God. Jessica also takes a strong role in the Student Life Ministries, ministering to the youth and young adults.

Nicholas & Ashley Talley

After graduating from The Forerunner School of Ministry, both Nic, originally from Moody, Alabama, and Ashley, originally from Florida, stayed in Birmingham, bringing leadership and assistance to FSM as well as their local youth ministry. Nic & Ashley were recently married in April of 2011. Shortly after their wedding, Nic and Ashley were approached by an upcoming church plant in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nic and Ashley have taken the position as the youth ministers for Icon Youth Ministries, as well as taking a vital role in building the foundation of V-Life Church under Pastors Dana and Brigette Metcalf.

Eddie & Brittany Thomas

As former members of Through the Veil and students of The Forerunner School of Ministry, Eddie and Brittany went on to become Worship pastors in Oxford, Alabama. During the past 6 months, they've seen sudden growth and revival through the presence of God within their congregation. Brittany, the writing artist of the song "Deeper" has a heart intune with worship and Eddie, has a heart for outreach to see the lost saved.

Ben & Julie Ragsdale

Ben & Julie, originally from Bay Minette, Alabama, came to The Forerunner School of Ministry, as students. During their time at FSM, they become engaged and went onto launch the youth ministries at the church plant of The Summit Church at Birmingham. Culivate Youth Ministries launched a month prior to The Summit Church's launch, and grew steadily while meeting at a local smoothie shop. Ben & Julie returned to the Mobile area to join the staff of Bay Community Church. At Bay Community Church, they oversee the outreach department, assist in the Media department as well as administration. Their greatest achievement is the birth of their daughter, Isla.
